Métis Family Connections – Early Years is for families with Métis children from birth to eight years old. The program helps families build a network of support and connects children with early learning and childhood development opportunities. Métis Family Connections Navigators help families find regional programs and services and connect with community and culture.
Eligibility
Families with Métis children from birth to eight years old.
What the Service Provides
- Information about Métis identity and Métis Nation BC.
- Help finding and accessing early-years services in the family’s community.
- Connections with other Métis families and support through stages of child development.
- Opportunities to attend Métis family gatherings.
- Métis cultural resources.
- Access to the Miyoopimaatishihk (Wellbeing) Program.
