lskwew Air (ISS-KWAY-YO) is a reliable, Indigenous-woman owned airline which provides scheduled service between Qualicum Beach Airport (CAT4) and Vancouver South Terminal (YVR) along with 24-hour aircraft charter service throughout British Columbia.
The name was chosen to celebrate the first Indigenous woman owned airline, all women, and all those lifting women. It was chosen as an act of reclamation of womanhood, matriarchal leadership, and language. We operate three twin engine PA31 Piper Navajo: Sweetgrass Warrior (GPAK), Strawberry Moon (C-FSWN) & Baby Bison (C-GMDL).
We are proud to be a Mother, Daughter led, Canadian business whose name was chosen to celebrate all women, and all those lifting women.
