About the Opportunity

The Social Program Coordinator oversees the day-to-day coordination of MNBC Ministry of Health and Wellness programs and services and identifies the health needs of Métis. The coordinator works collaboratively with other programs across Métis Nation BC as well as the Chartered Communities to ensure the development and implementation of the programs are aligned.  This includes offering support for various programs and services available to Métis citizens and aiding them through the application process. The coordinator oversees day-to-day operations, assists in managing program budgets, and maintains crucial relationships with government ministries, community agencies, and stakeholders. Additionally, it includes administrative tasks like coordinating events, tracking program data, handling financial matters such as invoices and purchasing orders, managing email communications, and maintaining organized filing systems.
