The Strategic Relations and Initiatives Committee’s general duties are to review and support ongoing discussions with the Crown – both federally and provincially – regarding the recognition of Section 35 Rights for Métis in British Columbia, and related discussions on MNBC self-determination, self-governance, resource development and land-use.
