Brodie Douglas was born in Merritt, BC with Metis ancestry going back to late 1790's in Manitoba. As many of us Metis are reconnecting with our history and identity we need leadership that can clearly and knowledgeably talk about our history and who the Métis people are today. Metis History Matters.

Campaign Platform

Priority 1
As President I will advance the Inherent S.35 Rights of Metis within the Province of British Columbia.
Priority 2
As President I commit to sharing our BC Metis story with First Nations throughout the Province as a means of engaging in respectful dialogue while advancing our history.
Priority 3
As President I promise to support MNBC staff and communities by encouraging monthly Metis Identity Education sessions that are open to all Metis Citizens.
