The Ministry of Skills Training, Employment, Post-Secondary (STEPS) and the Ministry of Health have received $145,000 in funding from the Province of British Columbia to develop a scholarship program for Métis learners currently enrolled or enrolling in post-secondary. STEPS would like to administer this funding starting in September 2022. Funding will be provided to those registered in a health-related program at a recognized BC public post-secondary institution or in an environmental science/studies program.
