Course Outline and Details:
Open to STEP students in Region 7 only. A one-day, in-person training opportunity where students will learn the basics and navigation of a computer. Computer for Beginners will help students with:
- Creating folders
- Opening and navigating between windows/tabs
- Taking screenshots
- Customizing desktops
- Finding and saving files/documents
- Computer and internet safety (viruses/spam/scams/privacy)
- External hardware (monitors/printers/hard drives) knowledge
- Smartphone navigation
- And more!
All students must be commuting distance to whichever location/session they register for.
