Niwȋķȏwin Métis Family Services Society is a non-profit society originally founded in 2003 as Kikino Métis Children and Family Services Society. Niwîkôwin provides Métis specific support services and advocates for Métis children, youth and families living in the Prince George area. They provide broad-based community prevention and education programs that are geared towards everyone in the community, recognizing that all families need support in raising their children. Niwîkôwin's programs are designed to nourish the dignity and integrity of the family, build community spirit and affirm Métis cultural identity.
